Photography of Sergio and Alison's wedding day at Pitzhanger Manor and Linden House

What a lovely day to photograph! It didn’t matter that it was the only cloudy day for a week – where the sun was missing, Alison and Sergio’s smiles where lighting up all day long!

Both photographers started at the bride’s house – where it was full house! Sisters, spouses, parents, nephews, nieces and a dog where running amok in the house, getting ready for the day… well the dog wasn’t exactly getting ready, he was just running amok anyway. Then Louise took off to meet the nervous but bubbly groom at the stunning ceremony venue, while Milda stayed, to arrive with for the ceremony with the bride and her family. The ceremony was held at Pitzhanger Manor, a charming old house in west London with several nice room – each room having it’s own character, period features and curious wall paper.

After the ceremony, champagne mingle and portraits in the garden, we headed for the reception venue, Linden House along River Themes in Chiswick.

The whole wedding day was so pretty, filled with moments of laughter and well chosen locations! Well, we'll let the images speak the rest…

We're happy for you to choose a location – it could be at your home, in your garden, favorite park, favorite street… or any other location in your area. We are best in southwest and west London, but travel is free of charge within London zone 1 – 6.

Wedding fair at Debenhams in Clapham Junction 19th - 20th of February

This Saturday and Sunday coming up, you will find Your wedding tale photographers at the Ground Floor of Debenhams in Clapham Junction, equipped with images and books to show all brides and grooms! It is time for the yearly winter wedding event when marrying couples can sign up for gift lists with Debenhams and receive special offers - and browse the handpicked local suppliers that will be filling up the foyer around the escalators! 


We are extra glad to be part of this fair, since we've been personally invited following a recommendation (!)

Portraits of two cheeky brothers

With requests increasing for children's portraits, we've now decided to add our children portrait sessions to our blog!

Here comes a chapter about two super cute brother’s day in the park! It was photographed all the way back on one of those sunny days towards the end of October – just before the cold struck! (Yeah, we all remember how cold it turned all the sudden…) But on this day we all still had sun in our eyes! Together with the mother of the two boys, we decided on spending an afternoon in the park, where the boy's natural joy could be captured as a set of portraits in documentary style. An adventures day that ended with a bubble party as the sun was setting!

Clerkenwell Wedding photography, with ceremony in Saint Barts - Bartholomew the Great and a reception in Le Saint Julien.

This was a lovely wedding to photograph, it had everything you could ask for in a December wedding -  a candle lit wedding ceremony in Saint Barts of West Smithfield, followed by a lively restaurant reception in the very cosy and xmas decorated Le Saint Julien - just a stone throw from the church.

There was something really dramatic about the suit at Malmaison Hotel, where Caroline and her bridesmaids where getting ready in the morning. Although the darkness soaked up all light (photographer's nightmare) and craved lots of flash bouncing - the black walls, dark interiors and landscape/city scape pictures on the walls, really added a certain atmosphere to the room. It really worked with the darker x-massy time of the year somehow....

The restaurant where the reception was held, was a lovely french gem - with excellent food and plenty of atmosphere: Le Saint Julien, run by Francois Jobard - a great venue for smaller weddings in the Clerkenwell area!
